“Dang” by Jeffrey Rowland (Overcompensating)
We didn’t invent the word “dang” but we’ve certainly been saying it at least once an hour since we could form sentences. “Dang” is pretty much perfect because while it isn’t technically a cuss word, there’s no mistaking what it means when you say it.
This was designed with a sharpie on paper, with the thinking that “what if John Wayne tried to do calligraphy as hard as he could.” Classy but dignified. As seen in many iterations in the diary comic Over-Compensating.
