“Sophticles” by Frank Gibson & Becky Dreistadt (Tiny Kitten Teeth)

“Salve, discipuli!” uttered my insufferable Latin and Greek history teacher.

“Sophticles, born 497BC, was initially known for his innovative take on traditional facial grooming but soon rose to prominence due to his controversial spherical earth theory. The local populace deduced this was due to an unhealthy obsession with balls of yarn. The disgraced Sophticles was then driven out of town by an enraged proletariat, armed with squirt guns and spray bottles.”

At this precise moment two men in medical outfits grabbed my teacher by her arms and escorted her out of the room in utter, blissful silence.
