When I visited Melonville in 1979, I was referred by a friend to a new restaurant opening on the outskirts of town. The owners were famous on the B-list horror movie circuit, and I was a fan. I was seated by Dr. Tongue, himself, and served by none other than Woody Tobias Jr (aka Bruno). That night’s entertainment was hosted by Mr. Monster Chiller Horror Theatre himself, Count Floyd. The night truly lived up to their slogan, “3D Entertainment and an Excellent Cut of Beef.”
