Super Mario Bros. 3 was nothing more than an elaborate play. From the opening of the curtains on the title screen to each stage ending in back, exit stage right. The clouds hung from ropes and the platforms were bolted onto the background. Caddywompus brings us the opening scene, World 1, Act 1.
