Robot Masters are a special kind of robot, mainly under the control of Dr. Wily, that possess a very advanced level of artificial intelligence. The system is jointly credited to Dr. Light and Dr. Wily, and most Robot Masters possess a unique identification code, consisting of a two-letter “series code” followed by one of N, No, or #, then a three-digit “serial number”. They are generally humanoid in appearance, and they are often designed with specific purposes and human-like personalities and quirks.[#]
